Job Description

We are seeking a digital marketer to focus on profitable customer acquisition and activation. You should have a sound understanding of marketing, including (but not limited to) acquisition funnels, e-commerce, go-to-market strategy, and digital channel management. You have an analytical/technical mindset and are famous for your “out-of-the-box” creative thinking. At the same time, you've been blessed with a result-driven personality.
While you may be a superhero of your channel, you believe that working together with stakeholders will get you and the team to ROI greatness. You eat data for breakfast and can easily identify trends and insights to optimize campaign budgets, improve customer acquisition and performance.
So if you are a marketer who knows how to build a funnel into a performance beast and has an intense love relationship with data-driven decisions, we want you on the team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate regular deep dives into the review of performance to identify risks and opportunities across marketing, product, and customer landscape.

  • Translate big-picture ideas into phased plans for analysis and testing to validate hypotheses efficiently (crawl, walk, run).

  • Build business cases for initiatives by estimating costs and benefits, understanding cross-functional impacts and working with stakeholders to validate estimates.

  • Identify and propose potential business opportunities at a company and business unit level.

  • Build marketing dashboards and reports to surface data at the time of acquisition to improve the efficiency of marketing efforts.

  • Manage and optimize existing Adwords, Youtube, Facebook, IG, Pinterest campaign components including Ad Copy, Bid Prices, Cost per Conversion, Cost per Click, Keyword Research.

  • Be a thought leader in marketing analytics working with product managers on data-driven initiatives to improve scale and efficiency.

  • Improve unit economics (LTV, CAC, etc.) and marketing effectiveness (by marketing channel, email funnels, paid/organic sources).

  • Partner with stakeholders on improving and maintaining tracking systems, sourcing and identifying 3rd party platforms.

  • Liaise with finance on forecasting, budgeting and spend reconciliation.

  • Analyze and evaluate campaign performance; compile and generate reports and establish strategies to boost ROI.

  • Plan on-site and off-site tests to validate strategic hypotheses.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders, be responsible for driving the end-to-end testing process from conception to execution and analysis.

  • Be responsible for the tracking and evaluating of testing outcomes, and lead communication sessions for sharing and learning purposes in a timely manner.

  • Make recommendations on test decisions based on analysis and feedback, ensuring that test results are properly implemented into future testing and strategy.

  • Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant working experience within the e-Commerce sector, especially in marketing automation and campaign management, will be given a priority.

  • Experience with various data streams such as heat-mapping and A/B testing to produce effective web designs.

  • An intricate understanding of the user journey, with the ability to articulate this through effective storytelling, wireframes, and prototypes that solve user roadblocks.

  • Functional knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, Prestashop or any other responsive web framework.

Requirement

  • Diploma/bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of marketing, analytics, and/or strategy experience in SEO/SEM/lead generation/email/social/display, including direct experience in channel management, conversion funnel analysis, and test execution.

  • Expertise in using analytics tools (more than just basic Google Analytics experience).

  • When the data starts getting sticky, you have the expertise to manipulate data sets (Excel and SQL are your best friends).

  • Stalker-like attention to detail and ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced technology-driven environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort breaking down and attacking open-ended problems.

  • A good grasp of data analysis and data-driven decision-making.

  • Familiar with and passionate about industry trends and strategies.

  • Addicted to two things: competitive strategy games and seeing your conversions translate into $$$ (or a passion for selling products online).

  • Leadership ability to lead and oversee campaigns with a cross-functional team and to train juniors.
